Markindel Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 With a bit of ability and a lot of luck can land on aircraft carrier and even take off with the DCS P51D. I am very attracted to naval aviation. As I tried to do this with landings with our wonderful DCS P51D Mustang on the carrier in "DCS World", meaning the russian carrier CV 1143.5Admiral Kuznetsov and the american carrier,class Nimiz, CVN-70 Carl Vinson. The problem I encountered is that you can not control the aircraft taxiing after landing on aircraft carriers. It seems that the plane is moving at the same speed of the aircraft carrier. This is true as absolute speed, but not as a relative speed when the aircraft is stationary on the deck of aircraft carrier, its relative velocity should be zero. This error makes it ungovernable in the plane taxiing on aircraft carriers and so I was forced to put to zero the speed of the aircraft carrier. I ask, kindly, to the tester to check the ED. Come tale ho provato ad effettuare degli appontaggi con il nostro meraviglioso DCS P51D Mustang sulle portaerei presenti in "DCS World" e cioè la portaerei americana classe Nimiz, Carl Vinson e la portaerei russa Admiral Kuznetsov. Il problema che ho incontrato è che non è possibile controllare l'aereo in rullaggio dopo l'appontaggio sulla portaerei. Sembra che l'aereo si muova alla stessa velocità delle portaerei. Questo è vero come velocità assoluta, ma non come velocità relativa, quando l'aereo è fermo sul ponte della portaerei la sua velocità relativa dovrebbe essere zero. Questo errore rende ingovernabile l'aereo in rullaggio sulla portaerei e quindi sono stato obbligato a porre a zero la velocità della portaerei. Chiedo, cortesemente, ai Tester della ED di verificare. Sono disposto, se richiestomi, ad inviare loro i files .trk. Video su youtube:

Strobe to dash is under 35 km. HDD is 7 times range key. Radar to 160 km, IRST to 10 km. Stay low, but never slow.
