58th VFW - US Based Wing

Attention all combat simmers! The 58th VFW is recruiting pilots for membership and participation in online missions. While our virtual wing may be new, our current members and senior personnel are veterans of DCS and Flaming Cliffs, as well as other combat flight sims. We're a U.S. based wing, equipped with the F-15C (5th VFS), A-10C (32nd VFS), and the Ka-50 (1-58th AVN).

We have a complex and informative training program that aims to increase individual proficiency in not only our aircraft, but the execution of the various missions and tactics that we undertake. Whether you're a serious simmer that strives to know as much about the systems of your favorite aircraft, or a battle-hungry aviator looking for an edge in aerial combat, this is the squadron where you want to be.

That's my question too. I'm in Australia but work a late shift, I normally fly with the 161 Squadron (AEF's DCS-wing) but our timeframes never match.

We're GMT+11 as far as time goes and I'm on from 11pm most nights. I'm actively seeking a serious squadron where I can have fun, learn new things and blow stuff up :D I'm proficient with the basics, can deploy weapons, but need more experience/education/exposure to datalink, in-air refueling, target location, etcetera...

Does my timezone match your operating hours?

At this time most of our members are from US/Canada with normal flight hours from 7pm CST - 12AM CST (GMT-6). While we aren't a strict US only wing you do have to be able to fly during the time we are online in addition to having a reasonable connection to our multiplayer servers.

Our in house Campaign which models a conflict similar to what was seen in Kosovo is now 3 missions in. Our second campaign will begin once 1.2.3 has been released.
