im getting a wrong indication of the F15 HUD lately...

seems that my head is too high in the cockpit, as can be seen here: I cant even look straight onto the Aim120 targeting circle...

any hints on how to solve this?

reset my Track IR to initial position by pressing F12, but the head remains too high...

you must have installed some mod or edited SnapViewsDefault.lua file

Here you go. Add both files to the '...\DCS World\Config\View\ ' directory.

Also have a look at PeterP's ideas about the view system: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=96116

He posts a modified view setting with a proper modeling of the human head with neck. It works much better than the default for me.

got the same view when i had asigned the hotas slider to zoom view in the axis comands opion section. removed the slider and i think that set it back to using the trackir Z axis as zoom again and a normal view;)

It might also be an old .miz file causing this problem (especially FC2 era files) open the mission with winrar and remove any trace of files that enforce views (server.lua for one)

I also encountered this problem with 1.2.2 and my TrackIR. I tried resetting the snapviews to the defaults (I had customised a couple of views for the A-10 using RALT+NUM0), but that had no effect. I can temporarily fixed the problem by putting aside my TrackIR, using the keyboard to adjust the head position and using RALT+NUM0 to save the corrected position for the NUM5 snapview - but DCSWorld does not seem to be saving that view - even though the relevant view.lua settings have been adjusted - so I have to re-do the fix every time I enter a mission.
