A feature that's been asked for for near a decade now, maybe it's possible to put this on the engine reworks? Large screen setups distort toward the edges and all we'd need is 2 more camera viewports and configs to define their angle and FOV. I see how this all needs to be integrated in the render engine, but since in general triple screen configs are possible what's missing is only the angle/FOV definition. I cannot bring myself to shelling out 270 EUR for Fly-Elise for a screen config option.

Hey good people Not sure if this has been requested. I thought it would be great if in the ME we could have a feature or an option where we could restrict Civilian Traffic in areas where we don't want them moving around. For example in an Enemy Camp we've created with roads only for Armoured Units & such. Or maybe this is now already there added with one of the recent updates & I've missed it? Regards GA

Would be great to see more fast attack boats that can be placed on rivers. At the moment, all I have found is the small punt type attack boat that works. Only thing is , it's so small and you need a lot to make it interesting. Also, it would be great to be able to add more than 1 to a group. With all the new maps, river boats and gun boats would be extra immersive.

Searchlight and ПУАЗО-6 AAA fire control unit around SON-9 radar. We have German searchlights+KDO for FLAK in WW2 assets pack, so the technology is already in DCS, it would be cool to have versions of these in core DCS, available for all without additional purchases. And the ability to remove on-map light sources (town lights, street lamps etc.) in an area with a trigger zone similar to removal of objects would add a lot to night missions.

Its a bit hard to see how Afghanistans' focus on COIN gameplay is gonna be realized, with the current limitations of DCS' AI, ground units and air defense, as well as the very static/scripted mission structure. (Wags said Afghanistan is intended to be a counter insurgency focussed maps, see the recent interview below:)

Just want to see water effects when flying low.. next to the mach cone! but it would be nice to see visuals when low over water.. i mean water is a big part of most maps! shooting rounds into water, i am grateful for that! step up the visual game! as been going with the explosions and what not. dust kick over land could be improved too, i recall there was more dust kick in lomac back then..

already requested Make ammo and fuel trucks more blowy upy

So testing the new shockwaves. Several 500lb bombs laded just a few meters fromxa bunch of fuel and ammo trucks. They all caught fire and after a couple of minutes they had blown up one after the other. I found several problems. 1. The bombs should have just blown everything up(I know the frag/splash damage is getting worked on) 2. The trucks were really close so once the first one blew they all should do the same. Not follow their own timers. 3. Fuel and ammo trucks should really just explode automatically as soon as the recive damage. We know from video both from ww2 and later that it takes almost nothing for fuel and ammo to blow up. A couple of .50 cals and ammo and fuel goes boom! 4. Related to nr 3. Fuel and ammo should have far larger explosions. One way of doing this is to use the same explosions from jets exploding. It's a nice biggish fireball and would fit quite well. Video showing how the fuel and ammo trucks don't explode even though half the jungle is shaking. (Also exploding vehicles don't make the trees move. But I'm sure that will come later. -
Is there any updates on the "Save Game. Our new game persistence system" ? That was announced Jan. 23. This would help out greatly in some of these very long missions.

Petition to introduce undo+redo functionality into the DCS Mission Editor/Campaign Builder. Lacking UGC (user generated content) is the Achilles heal for most addon content in DCS, streamlining the creation process for builders should be priority. New planes and terrains are useless if there's little to do with them. Not having the bare basic functionality that designers come to expect of literally every creative suite they use (Photoshop, Illustrator, Word, Excel, Maya, 3DS Max etc all have undo/redo) is bewildering. Working many countless hours on a mission or campaign, only to accidentally move/delete an item with no option to undo is infuriating at best, and totally demotivating at worst. This community relies heavily on UGC, and fostering creators abilities to produce high quality content to give these modules new life should be paramount.
