Or even just ground unit sectors in general. Can we either assign sectors of fire per waypoint or request the devs to rework the logic? Attached are some examples of what I'm talking about. The orange triangle should be the units sectors of fire. The blue line are where the barrel is pointed. These AI skill is set to excellent by the way. The image with the Brads. The far left one is looking far right even though there is an enemy to it's left about to engage them. The image with the Abrams. The lead vehicle should be looking forward of the element, the second would be looking left or right of forward movement. Both forward moving vehicles are looking behind them while there is an enemy to the front. The rear vehicle should be pulling rear security but is actually looking at their forward movement. Thanks

So the upcoming KS-19 seems to have animations for shell ejection ( https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/upload/iblock/ef3/cf1wugyh9urt302bgtk31f0kjggt0p01/In_Dev_15.07.2022.7.jpg ) but like with all recent additions it is lacking its crew. This is mind boggling to me. I appreciate the highly detailed models, but the lack of crew really nullifies all this. I'd honestly prefer the lower fidelity models that at least have the (ugly) crew models. ZSU-23-2 for example. The suepr high details and animations are nice to have, but the missing crew is actually notable in gameplay: I remember one instance where my human wingman reported all enemy AAA netralized in the area. Only when i came under heavy fire, he realized that unmanned guns will still fight. >This is stupid!< Honestly ED, we don't need super detailed crew with compelx body temperature and behaviourial simulation. For all i care, put those old ugly crew models in and give them the treatment for the new FLIR. Please!

Ground vehicles set behind the M92 sandbags to make it look like a fighting position become almost "invisible" to the other AI ground units Set up: Blue convoy: Weapons Free, skill: Excellent. 2x MGS(highest main cannon) 2xLAV Red defense: Weapons Free, skill: Average. 1xT-72, 1xBMP-2. Test 1: Both red units behind M92 sandbags. Blue convoy was engaged and destroyed while never engaging red. Test 2: Removed sandbag from T-72 position. Blue convoy saw T-72, engaged and destroyed T-72 from over 1km away. Was engaged from Red BMP-2 while never acknowledging they were being engaged. Blue Convoy was within 300 meters of red bmp-2 with a clear LOS of the bmp-2 but never saw it. Test 3: Removed sandbags from both T-72 and BMP-2. Blue convoy engaged and destroyed T-72 from about the same range as Test 2. When blue convoy found bmp-2 they engaged and destroyed it before the BMP could engage them. EDIT: December 25th. Still a issue after the new patch. Images and trackfile are from tonight. Made a simple test mission for you as well so its easily repeatable. nullM92 sandbags(WITHOUT).trkM92 sandbags(WITH).trkM92 sandbags(WITH&ROEFREE).trkM92 Sandbag test.miznullnullnull

Issues with SCUD-B & Silkworm launching. Hello. I am quite new to the missiles such as the Silkworm and the SCUD-B. I can't figure out how to launch the Silkworm and the SCUD-B. I select the fire at point for the SCUD-B and attack group (ship) options, but they do not seem to fire. Would mean a lot for me to get help and educate myself on how to use these missile launchers in-game with AI. Best regards, polak_3

Hallo I tried to put a train on map. It has Empty Life bar at start, is visible on map moving, but in free camera one can hear only sound of train without train itself. Mosqito squadron 20230120_01.miz

I feel like this must have come up before but i couldn't find any threads so here it is The ability to tell ground units(groups) to follow other ground units would be incredibly useful as it would allow moving as a large group but then splitting up to go in different directions etc, essentially enabling a suite of options for more convincing ground unit behaviour for mission makers.

Posted this on the Eagle Dynamics's discord with the track files and videos. The T-80's front armor is almost invincible against other tank rounds. I had 10 M1 Abrams go against it and they all lost. I have the track files but I'm pretty sure my account on this forum is restricted from me sharing anything. Side and rear armor are fine. Again... This is posted in your discord. Also T-72B3 destroyed 6 of the 10 Abrams, Again shots aimed at the front armor.
