So, almost a week since razbams announcement that they trie to not abandon things.... What is the status?

"Honesty is the first chapter in the book of wisdom." - Thomas Jefferson As much as I dislike gossip and speculation, I equally detest total silence and irresponsibility. There is a post on Reddit discussing the Strike Eagle refund, Enigma creating a video, and an announcement by Razbam in the Discord. Is it not the right time to inform users and customers about any updates on this module? What is the future of this module?

I have been a loyal Eagle Dynamics customer for over 6 years, and I want my Strike Eagle purchase refunded or credited to my store account. I would never have purchased it if I knew some dispute like this would happen, rendering my purchase unsupported and soon-to-be dead at any patch update. What's worse is that this product, and all of Razbam's products, are still being offered for purchase by Eagle Dynamics on their "E-Shop" page. At best, that is incredibly poor, bad-faith marketing. At worst, it is fraud. @NineLine, @BIGNEWY, please do the right thing. Your reputations, as well as the reputation of your company, depend on it. The entire DCS community is watching.

Good afternoon, Seeing that there are no news or updates related to Razbam products, that ED commercializes, I would like to know what my options are as a client, regarding the last product "DCS: F-15E by RAZBAM". I purchased the product on 17/02/2023, which is still in the minimum 2-year protection guarantee under EU law, for any digital content or digital services turn out to be defective, do not appear as advertised or do not work as expected. If the provider cannot repair the content or services within a reasonable time, free of charge and without inconvenience to us the client, we may request at least a price reduction. Until when it is expected that we know, within a reasonable time, what ED will do about this situation? Thank you for your understanding. Kind regards.

Right. My world has reverted to its Cold War state, the one that I knew when I young, with major powers fighting proxy wars and every one of us living under the Damocles sword of nuclear Armageddon, As a Brit I have lived through 13 years of the most inept and corrupt govt in modern times and with election looming there appears to be little possibility of significant change, and all over Europe and the USA politics is lurching toward the brainless, populist right, and to top it all - well bloody Nora, I now hear that my F15E, my Mirage and Mig and Harrier are in danger from some bloody business argument between the Raz v DCS, SORT IT OUT. If it’s money then the community can have a whip-round. The basic message that I, as a man of more vintage years than most of you kids, am attempting to put across is that reality is crap enough without you two arguing and if it all goes wrong that Raz will take their toys and leave. Balls to that! Leave childish, self serving obduracy and spats between forces of equally unbending, uncompromising idiocy to the British Government.

Ok so this is now obviously a bug as products we have purchased have no ongoing support or updates, unless you guys actually start telling us the way forward, what is the refund policy as we purchased in good faith that the modules would over time be completed and not be stagnant at early access stage. This topic is not going to go away unless you actually give us the current info or give us a refund option then remove the modules?

Hi, this is my personal opinion but I really feel there needs to be an update from ED regards the on going issues with razbam. The negativity on this subject is really starting to gather speed. I was one of those that got bitten when VEAO died with the Hawk and P40F. I've already paid out for 2 modules that will never see the light of day again and I currently own all Razbam modules. So if they die off too, I would have spent out a large sum of my money on these products to support DCS and 3rd parties for no reason. After the whole veao saga, I thought all future modules had to hand the source code to ED so that didn't happen again? Now with so many people requesting refunds for the F15E, it's all looking very bad for the future of DCS as a whole and I'm surprised all concerned aren't feeling the pinch in sales and customer satisfaction. It's really not a good place to be and not keeping your consumer base in the know is the worst thing to do.

I am hoping to get the answer from ED. Right now if a developer leaves DCS, would we be SOL? Would ED take over their modules or could another developer do so? For example if Razbam dropped could Heatblur potentially take over the Strike Eagle?

Could someone please point me to the original official comment from Razbam or ED outlining what the situation is? Apologies for asking, I just can't locate it. Thanks.

ED / Razbam, Given the last code update we had in game for the F15 was on the 22nd Feb this year, 3 months ago and given that there was a very public dispute nearly 2 months ago, what is the latest? Are we going to be pleasantly surprised tomorrow with a code update? As a consumer what can we expect from this module going forward if this is not the case? I asked on the 5th April should the module be on sale, given the issues, i've not seen or heard any further updates and apologise if i have missed them, if not can you clarify including timeframes say to the nearest quarter year what your resonable expectations are in terms of development and what is going on to make this happen. I think silence is ok for a few months, but after that I think its only right that you update your customers.

Blades of Steel - Syria [Helicopter Sandbox] - by Element All Helo Modules (Single or Multiplayer) After the Syrian President was assassinated, that country fell into civil war as various groups fight for power. The city of Damascus is currently under siege by ruthless insurgents. Major airports and Syrian strongholds have been captured. As part of the Combined Joint Task Force (blue) we are to push the insurgents (red) out of Damascus and return peace to the city. Blades of Steel - is a PvE sandbox operation for all current DCS World helicopter modules and Syria Map. While I did develop this mission mainly for the huey and transport ops I do have missions and targets for more advanced helo modules such as sam sites, convoys, airfields, ect. You are able to play many different rolls from troop transport ops to recapturing airfields to completing ground strikes/attacks. Mission can also be play in singleplayer or multiplayer. This mission will provide hours and hours of flying fun with over 100+ different LZs for transport ops an even an option for Live Player Stats using my already included and installed EasyStats script. Features: - 100+ LZs for Troop Transport Ops - Troop Insertions - Troop Extractions - LZ's will smoke during the day and Flare at Night time.. - Combat Search and Rescue Operations (CSAR) - Ground Attack / Strike Missions - EasyStats for live player stats To Enable LIVE STATS You will need to edit your MissionScripting.lua file. Edit your MissionScripting.lua ("C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Scripts") so EasyStats may create and save data. Comment out sanitizeModule('os'), sanitizeModule('io'), sanitizeModule('lfs'), and require It should look something like this... do --sanitizeModule('os') --sanitizeModule('io') --sanitizeModule('lfs') require = nil loadlib = nil end Strike / Ground Attack Missions Use menu to check for the latest targets for your unit. Also use F10 map to pinpoint its location. These will include convoys, SAM & EWR sites, as well as airfields and road outposts ect. Troop Transport Operations (DO NOT USE CTLD IF SELECTING ONE OF THESE MISSIONS) Inserts, Extractions, CSAR If you choose one of these roles and if troops are required they will be loaded and/or spawned automatically. No need to load troops via CTLD menu. Plan your route wisely! After you are assigned a mission and doing a transport operation be sure to check the F10 map so you may avoid problematic areas such as SAM sites, outposts, and strike/ground operation areas as they may provide a serious threat to your Huey or Mi8. You may wish to go around to avoid these areas during your mission. Manually Loading Infantry Troops - CTLD Menu Transport helos also have the options to transport troops into battle at any one of the current Strike / Ground Attack operations. Just be sure to drop troops within 3000 Meters of a target and troops will march and attack target. Check out the F10 Map for current ground/attack missions. Use the CTLD -> Transport menu to load troops. Most of these operations will be very tough for transport helios alone. Load troops at White Smoke at airfields or anywhere on a FARP. Things to Know: Ambush Attacks: Uh1 Hueys and Mi8s will need to stay vigilant as its very possible you may be attacked randomly by insurgents while in Enemy Territory. SAM Threats: SAM Threats are very likely , fast and low is the way to go when performing troop transport ops Download Blades of Steel Syria - By Element Support Developer - If you enjoy this mission or any other my other missions and/or scripts please consider supporting! Enjoy!! Element ********************* Updates / Change Logs 12-10-2020 - LZ's fill smoke during the day, and flare during night time ops 12-11-2020 - Fixed bug with CSAR tasks 12-15-2020 - Added 10 Addls CSAR LZs 6-16-2021 - Added the New Mi-24P Hind & Added the latest version of Easy Stats

>>Preface<< "This mission has been edited to have the possibility of using three different and most commonly used modules on the same Syria map: F-18C, F-16C and A-10 II". >>Briefing<< We are in the theater of war of the Sirya, it is of fundamental importance to hit some strategic objectives through a "Strike and CAS" mission. If we decide to fly an F-18C or a Viper, we will have the exact same objectives, namely an enemy Command and Control Center and a SCUD missile post inside a military base south-east of Aleppo. Group A-10 II will have a different target, CAS mission northeast of the Aleppo position. The objective is to hit an enemy heavy gun emplacement with the help of the JTAC. During the mission, however, information that may be useful for the success of the mission will be displayed. In flight there will also be other packages managed by the AI, so pay attention to any type of information while browsing. This is a simple Strike and CAS missions for all aircraft listed. Each flight package has its WPs available until the target is reached. It starts from Incirlik airport, runway 23 authorized with exit on WP 02 Gate Venus. Once at WP 03, indicated as AAR Minesota, a refueling with the available Tanker must be carried out before arriving on the target area. The mission is accomplished the moment you receive the notification that the targets have been hit. I recommend that you follow all the procedures, as well as being an operational mission, it can also be useful for training. Attention to Taftanaz Area, area is restricted due to the possible presence of enemy surface-to-air missile positions. Download file.miz and please leave a comment if you liked the mission. Thanks

Hello folks, I would like to link / post the mission Kumru here. It is a low-level Snake Eye strike. The goal was to create a simple, beginner-friendly mission with voiceovers based on realistic phrases (the voiceovers are computer-generated and edited with Audacity). The biggest challenge in the mission is flying low to the target (below 400ft. AGL), dropping the bombs and, if necessary, evasive maneuvers. The mission was created with flags and triggers. Without mods or scripts. I am looking forward to your feedback ! One question: Does the Turkish Air Force use Nato brevity in their missions ? I have oriented myself to UK phraseology for this mission. __________ https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3335794/
