"NOT SOI" Notice No Longer Clearing from MFDs

Until today, the "NOT SOI" notice that appears on the MFDs would clear after a minute or so. Now it stays on permanently unless the given MFD is the SOI. Is there a setting that will allow the notice to clear after a given time?

I don't know about such a setting.

 

But in case you don't already know: pressing TMS Left Short performs "Clear WCN" (aka "Clear Warnings, Cautions and Notes") and should get rid of such messages in an instant.

Thanks for your reply. This action did not clear the warning, but I'll give it another try later today.

 

Was I correct in stating that normally the "NOT SOI" notice clears after a short period of time? I'm fairly certain this was happening, but maybe I'm mistaken.

Im sure the "Not SOI" is always displayed until made SOI.

 

I think its basically the display indicator on whats selected or not.

Working as it should... when your HUD is SOI it should say not soi on both your mfd`s

Thanks for the replies. Funny how your mind plays tricks on you. I could have sworn the notices were clearing before, but it seems all is as it should be.

Well, in any other case, "Clear WCN" should have done the trick. :D
