Not sure if this belongs here , or on the multiplayer forums. Sorry if i'm wrong.

I just have 1 simple question : Is it possible for a ground force commander to give me waypoints directly? Sometimes i see a little flag , like the CA waypoint flag , on my f10 map but i'm not sure if that was the ground commander giving me an order , or if it was just a glicth or something.

Don't know if it has anything to do wit it , but i was flying a huey. I can kind of see why , maybe , hueys and MI-8's get orders from the commanders since i feel like their missions are more involved with the actual ground troops. (especially the dropping off of troops some missions have scripted - wich is awesome btw)

So , long story short : Can ground commanders give direct waypoints / orders to players in the air?

Thank you

Unfortunately it is not in game but if you want to communicate in that way in MP with a group of people you could try this: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=121145

I haven't tried it yet but I think it is what you are looking for.

Edit: I have just read it a bit more carefully and it does not support real time orders but is a Mission pre planner that then can be imported back into DCS. still cool in its own way.

We could do with something like ARMA where you can write notes on the map.
