Tualatin Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 I create a mission to start from scratch. After the ka50 is ready I want to do taxing. When I press lshift+w to unlock parking break nothing happens. When I press my stick forward the front wheel destroy :( At the moment I have no clue why I can not unlock the parking break. BitMaster Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 Check your mappings mate. The may have gotten deleted. W = Whellbrake L-SHFT + W = perm. Brake --> W releases it again. It's actually easy going in the Ka, the P-51's Brake is a bit more frustrating when handled on the keyboard... Puddlemonkey Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 If you press CTRL + Enter to get the controls window up, what does it show? If you have the brake mapped to an axis on your joystick / throttle, that may be overriding the brake.

dsobbe Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 After pressing "W", add a very small amount of power, wiggle the rudder from side to side and add forward stick. That will allow the nose wheel to straighten as it is sometimes cocked, lighten the machine on the gear and give the cyclic controls more authority for taxing.
