Problems with cold start and K104

Hi there members of the board,

 

I am new to posting but a vet to the DCS community and sims. Sad to say I have spent more time with the Huey, A-10 and P-51 rather than the Black Shark.

 

I have recently been studying and practicing cold starts on the aircraft and have things down very well. I created a basis test flight mission in the editor with an easy load out on the wings to practice arming and firing the weapons system.

 

The problem I am running into is after I activate the K-041, the indicator lights on the pylons do not illuminate and I can not select inner or outer pylons. No weapons information shows up at all on the center console where your ammo count should be.

 

I have watched youtube video after youtube video with no prevail. When I do an instant start mission from the runway, they are always activated and I can select weapons and deploy them with no problems. I feel I am missing a step somewhere or there is a possible bug from the cold start up procedure with the K-041 recognizing the external stores on the aircraft.

 

I would greatly appreciate any information from you guys and even the DCS team if they might know what is going on.

I greatly appreciate the info, however still no dice. I turn the batteries on, activate power on back wall panel (back right) switch K-041 on (left right hand panel, next to collective) turn on master arm switch (center panel) and still no activation lights.

 

I tried "i" and "y" and it did not select the inner or outer pylons either. I have those keys bound to my throttle for selecting inner or outer but they fail as well. Its beyond me.

 

Any other advice from yourself or any others would still be greatly appreciated. Please try to remember I am not a complete FNG at this, just having problems with this one thing.

 

I watched a youtube video where they started it up exactly how I do and when the K-041 switch was turned on the damn panel lit up like a Christmas tree. He was able to select inner and outer pylons from there. I appreciate the help, hopefully I can get this minor issue fixed so I can continue practicing.

Throttles on AUTO (2x Pgup)

 

Electric Generator - ON

 

Weapons Systems - ON

Have the heli completed started or you just powered up?

 

Don't forget to turn on the weapon control switch on the right hand side of the 3 eject switches.

Check your heli by F2 that whether it has loads.

Have the ground power switched on or use your onboard generators, I think it just won't work otherwise. Can't remember how the older versions were, but this is how it appears to be working now...

I stand corrected and would like to apologize for being a dumb ass. I found the weapons systems power switch on the wall panel. I am good to go now minus a bruised ego. Thanks for the quick input.
