Currently possible with some config edits only, but it is a pretty bad implementation, and is completely scripted. The Su-27S AFM will be coming "soon", and that will have the full dynamic implementation.

If you aim for the sky, you will never hit the ground.

I'm just learning how to fly the Su-33 and I was wondering how to do the Cobra maneuver if its possible.

As sad the current flight model of the FC3 aircrafts isn't that detailed. Wait until the AFM is released and ask again later.

But I'm also interested how one would do this maneuver if it where possible (real world data would be very nice) :)

Disable the AoA limiter, stay below 500km/h and pull the stick all the way back.

In the real F-100 there was a hot shot pilot named Colonel John Boyd that did this same maneuver. He was a Captain at the time, about 1957, "flat-plating the bird". 400 knots to 150 knots in seconds. Both hands on the stick, jerk it full aft and hold it there, then stomp hard on one rudder and corkscrew the plane. The arrogant, hot-shot student that was just on his six is now in front of him! He was known as "forty second Boyd".

This guy Boyd is who is responsible for the F-15 and F-16.

After AFM for SU-27 or SU-33 hits, you might try:

About 3000m alt.

407 km/h IAS, throttle set to 85% rpm.

Rapid stick back to max pitch, achieving anywhere from 90 to 130 degrees positive pitch.

Then nose down and exit, exit speed probably at something like 154 km/h.

That's for a two seat SU-27. Values would change a bit for other variants.

My understanding is that for overriding the software AoA limits in the real thing you just pull harder on the stick. On the order of something like 300-400 Newtons of force on the stick. Assuming that I'm not confusing the Su-27 AoA override with the Mig-29 AoA override.

Callsign "Auger". It could mean to predict the future or a tool for boring large holes.

I combine the two by predictably boring large holes in the ground with my plane.

In the real su-27 there is a simple aoa and g limiter switch which can be disabled for that. Its located under the throttle. Take a look at the real world manual in the su27 instruments thread here for a link :)
