mhe Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Thanks a lot guys! Don't have the time to test it at the moment, but I'm glad there are some performance benefits I can look forward to! | i9 12900K | 64GB DDR5-6000 | STRIX RTX 4090 OC | LG 38GN950 38" | | Hanns-G HT225HPB | TIR 5 & Varjo Aero | Virpil Throttle & Stick | TM TPRs | You don't stop playing because you grow old, you grow old because you stop playing.
*Rage* Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Anyone actually benchmark or test the performance difference? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] 64th "Scorpions" Aggressor Squadron Discord: 64th Aggressor Squadron TS: 195.201.110.22
Pepec9124 Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Some people claim that it can benefit Fermi too. I'll wait till it's cefrified.
Lange_666 Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 No performace increase in DCS here, at least nothing noticable. I even have the idea (could be placebo) that the sidemovement when looking left or right is a lot more jerky. Will revert back to the previous one. Is smoother... All this "performance increase" is complete bullshit IMHO. And if there is any, it's mostly for really dedicated gamesnames. Win11 Pro 64-bit, Ryzen 5800X3D, Corsair H115i, Gigabyte X570S UD, EVGA 3080Ti XC3 Ultra 12GB, 64 GB DDR4 G.Skill 3600. Monitors: LG 27GL850-B27 2560x1440 + Samsung SyncMaster 2443 1920x1200, HOTAS: Warthog with Virpil WarBRD base, MFG Crosswind pedals, TrackIR4, Rift-S, Elgato Streamdeck XL. Personal Wish List: A6 Intruder, Vietnam theater, decent ATC module, better VR performance!
msalama Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 complete bullshit IMHO Not true, because the PC family is so wildly heterogenous a platform that one computer might benefit greatly, whereas another just won't. So you can't really generalize like that... The DCS Mi-8MTV2. The best aviational BBW experience you could ever dream of.
