nsksleeper Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 Hey Folks, i have a problem on some server running 1.2.8 with the Huey, after I takeoff everythings fine, but if i want to increase hight the RPM decreasing and i'm not able to climb. It feels like sticking on ground or having a very heavy cargo on the heli! do you have the same problems? or even solutions? :helpsmilie: lg Markus

Lib Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 it is in multiplayer, so i can't save a track. Multiplayer tracks are automatically saved. i dont remeber exactly where but i think it's in c:\USER\Documents\saved games\DCS\Tracks
Paganus Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 Make sure a controller you are using is not lowering the engines RPM. This was the cause for a couple of people that have posted about having this problem.
nsksleeper Posted April 29, 2014 Author Posted April 29, 2014 here is a track file, first testing a lot, and start later, sorry for thatclient-20140429-103418.trk lg Markus
nsksleeper Posted May 6, 2014 Author Posted May 6, 2014 i think i fixed it, it is a matter of weight, so @some servers the huey are to heavy, that is what i think. lg Markus
Flagrum Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 i think i fixed it, it is a matter of weight, so @some servers the huey are to heavy, that is what i think. I just tried it briefly. I had to do a running start - but probably no wonder as the FARPs are all at an alt of 3600 - 4000 ft.
Need-To-Know Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 i think i fixed it, it is a matter of weight, so @some servers the huey are to heavy, that is what i think. Yeah on the 104th server the Hueys are over weight on mission 5. I believe they are 10K + so it is necessary to check your weight and adjust fuel or lose rockets. I did have a unique problem yesterday in single player mission I have been working on. I crashed the Huey and then instead of reloading the mission I just hit the Spawn button. I re-spawned but the Huey was stuck to the ground. Not a weight problem but stuck like glue. Try respawning in single player and see if it happens to anyone else. I will test again tomorrow. Fight to fly, fly to fight, fight to win. Callsign: Need Shu-Ha-Ri
Flagrum Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 At least the Hueys in the mission that is attached to posting #7 are not too heavy. They're all at 98% ... but as I said, for that altitude that might cause some difficulties.
