Sceptre Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 You may need more RAM but just try playing DCS World's Su-25T (all free software) and dropping some bombs, etc. Mess around with the video settings to get it right. If you don't have a problem you should be able to run DCS Black Shark. EDIT: Open the start menu, type "dxdiag" and tell me your specs from there as that will be a lot clearer, thanks RTX 2070 8GB | 32GB DDR4 2666 RAM | AMD Ryzen 5 3600 4.2Ghz | Asrock X570 | CH Fighterstick/Pro Throttle | TM MFDs | TrackIR 5
Sel94 Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 (edited) As said above, you will most likely need more RAM, which is usually an easy upgrade. Also, your graphics card is quite old, but it could possibly run it. You can try downloading DCS World for free by clicking . It comes with a free Su-25T and Tf-51, both are very fun to use. I would recommend trying to fly one of these, and if your system can handle it, then you should be fine running Black Shark. EDIT: Also, I couldn't find it in your list of specs, you need a 64-bit operating system. You can find this by: -Clicking the start button(lower left windows button) -Select "Control Panel" -Select "System and Security" -Select "System" In the "System" section, look for "system type:" and that will tell you if you have 32 bit or 64 bit. Tone71 Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 I'm going to go ahead and say no, I don't think you can run it, sorry; all of your specs look like they're below recommended. Looks like you have a 32-bit OS too, which is a big no. By all means download DCS World and give the Su-25 a whirl though, see how it runs. Windows 10 Home, Intel Core i7-9700K @ 4.6GHz, Gigabyte GTX 1070 G1 Gaming (8GB VRAM) on 34" LG curved monitor @ 3440x1440, 32GB RAM, TrackIR 3 (with Vector Expansion), Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS, Saitek Combat Pedals, Thrustmaster Cougar MFDs.

Whatever you do , you do not need more that 8GB of RAM . I know others playing with less and they say its ok ..... minamum 4GB .
ShuRugal Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 PassMark scores your CPU at 1048, the Core2 Duo 2.0 GHz (which is the minimum requirement) scores 1118, so we'll call that a "maybe" your video card scores between 164 and 196 (depending on which 4300/450 series it is). There is not a listed model type for the cards, but my old nVidia 9600m scores 277, and it was -not- sufficient to run World (any sort of weather effects brought it down to 12 fps, lighting at night brought it to 6) so we can call video a 'no' you only have 2GB of physical memory, which is just barely enough to run windows 7. the current version of World lists the minimum as 6 GB, so you're SOL there as well. You could probably run Black Shark 1 without much trouble, it can be had on Steam for $20 most days, but I would not spend my money on any World modules until getting a new computer.
