bob1033 Posted May 23, 2014 Author Posted May 23, 2014 No. No. Eject. Lol, that was my original thoughts before I came here to ask. I guess the A-10 reflects way too much radar energy to have a chance of avoiding fighters. I'll just have to find some F-15 pilots I can trust
159th_Viper Posted May 23, 2014 Posted May 23, 2014 :) The ONLY prayer you might have is if you get caught in the Valleys. Truth is that the A-10 is just too damn slow to be anything other than a target drone. Accept this and go down swinging: Don't run. If you cannot get fighter support immediately then go on the offensive. Us Bomber-Boys do get lucky every so often and it's all the sweeter when flying a truck. LOL that answer you gave earlier was the best ever:thumbup: And definitely, you can't run so might as well fight. It's only pixelated blood after all. Guest Izoul123 Posted May 28, 2014 Posted May 28, 2014 Yep. For single player missions they will usually be 'balanced' to have AI cover to do this. If you are logging onto a multiplayer server that's open to the public, you are screwed. Don't even bother taking off. Especially if you are logging into a 'clan/squad' server as a solo pilot to 'have fun/participate'. You will be nothing more than cannon fodder for them and they will show no mercy for anything. It's the nature of the beast for online multi-player. Quite honestly I don't even know why they open these servers/missions to the public other than to decimate 'noobs/non clan/squad' players. It's pointless, and is nothing of 'simulation' anymore at this point. Cannon Fodder. The game is rigged and the house wins in those situations. Nothing like a real theater of war/operation.
nickexists Posted May 28, 2014 Posted May 28, 2014 Depending on how the teams are balanced you can easily operate on multiplayer by staying low and paying attention to the rwr. Unfortunately people who fly fighters seem to have a tendency to join up with other fighters rather than balance out the teams.
