About to buy DCS F-15C, Dowload Beta Version?

I'm just a few clicks away from purchasing and have one last question..

 

DCS site indicates that DCS - F-15C Eagle is currently in Download Beta Version ..

 

Assuming that I've already purchased this "Beta" version, I no longer need to re-purchase the regular retail version once it's out correct?

Correct, like any other DCS purchase, buying the beta significate buying the finished version :thumbup:

It is said to be in beta, but honestly it will stay as it is for a while as PFM got released. I don't know why they call it a beta.

Isn't it because they're adding Advanced Systems Modelling as well? Making it a fully fledged DCS module?

I just bought FC3, is the F15C the same one as part of FC3 or is this like a super duper version like A10C which I also have with the high fidelity avionics etc? FC traditionally never had the high end avionics did it, clickable cockpits etc, in the product description the SU25 makes it clear as does the A10A that these are already included as part of FC3 , the F15c does not make that same statement ? ie they both say "Note: the aircraft model is identical to the Flaming Cliffs 3 module. Owners of FC3 do not need to purchase." and F15c doesn't ?

The stand-alone F15c is exactly the same as the one included in FC3. There is no difference at all. What you get with the stand-alone is what you get with FC3.

 

With 1.2.8 the plane has been upgraded to PFM, which means that the flight model is now on par with the A10C, KA50, P51, Huey and Mi8. The cockpit, however, is not clickable.

Fingers crossed we see the SU25's go up to the PFM one day, love flying that barge :D
