cichlidfan Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Actually, un-installing never causes you to lose an activation, no matter how you do it. Installing the software is the ONLY way to use/lose an activation. EtherealN Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Actually, un-installing never causes you to lose an activation, no matter how you do it. Installing the software is the ONLY way to use/lose an activation. To be even more precise, installing also never causes the loss of activations. What causes loss of activation is the use of the simulator on a new hardware configuration or new OS install. For the OP, what is activated is the computer, not the specific install of a module. So after uninstall the activation will remain, meaning that you can reinstall it again without need to activate after that. However, OS reinstall or hardware modification can cause the activation to be lost. cichlidfan Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 I should have used the word 'flying' instead of 'installing' since you can actually use the ME without activating the product. ;) ASUS ROG Maximus VIII Hero, i7-6700K, Noctua NH-D14 Cooler, Crucial 32GB DDR4 2133, Samsung 950 Pro NVMe 256GB, Samsung EVO 250GB & 500GB SSD, 2TB Caviar Black, Zotac GTX 1080 AMP! Mrgud Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 And what happens when we use all of our activation in period of few years? I reinstall OS on my computer few times a year. Will I have to buy all my modules again or will I be able to gain new activations? Does anyone have experience with that? I do know the purpose of limited number of activations, but if I can somehow prove that all of my activations was used on the same computer, it is a different thing I think.

You can activate your game up to 10 times. The number of installations is unlimited! This game also allows Activations Automatically (“AAA”) technology that enables you to create a new activation once every 31 days. This ensures that you can still play the game, even if Eagle Dynamics no longer exists someday. This function is enabled after all 10 default activations have been used. Mrgud Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 To summarize: if one day I use all of my activations, the system will automaticly restore my last activation one month after I have used it? So, next month I would be able to install again if I update my system? Sorry for asking multiple times, I just want to be sure that I got it right.
