NRG-Vampire Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 (edited) However, that video doesn nothing to show that the current model isnt accurate. the problem is that the wing is not bent more irl - compared to wingroot - but the whole fuselage does together with the wingroot and this indicate more vertical displacement on the wingtip the wingtip do more movement irl than in the sim because the flex movement "starts" with bending engine gondolas through the flat fuselage (above gondolas) toward wingroots, wings and wingtips, while the bent fuselage flex the attached vertical tails as well only elevators are not bent because those are ~parallel to the airflow see my earlier post/wish here: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=2038128#post2038128 Edited July 9, 2014 by NRG-Vampire
Neon67 Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 Dude, if you change the scale you cannot complain. The Flankers wing is much smaller, of different construction, and almost certainly made of different materials. The principal is only the same in the sense that some amount of wing flex should occur. However, that video doesn nothing to show that the current model isnt accurate. See the jigles and flex ?
