Attached image issue

Attached images are full size in the attachment area.

Having this problem now, too. Seems the forum software does not "auto thumbnail" the attachements when uploading them ...?

Yes please! We want "thumbnails" back!

 

For a thread I upload seven images, but images cover all thread.

If I use tag to view them in message, screen looks completely messy!

Post them as images and not thumbnails - doing so will prevent the skullfcu*#ery that currently takes place as a result of attachments not being resized.

Set your default size in your options tab. This is what I see for regular screenshots (600x400)

Thanks for advice, but what about thumbnail sizes? They will be larger than resized image.

 

There's no "show no thumbnail" option in Attachment Management section.

 

On the other hand; thumbnail system was good for ones who have limited quota for internet connection...

It still downloads them at regular size, then after they are loaded, re-sizes to the specified size. Would rather have a thumbnail to click on the ones I want to see.

Except those are two different things.

 

Option that Viper was talking about is for embedded images. The problem this thread is about is that attached images are being shown in full size instead of thumbnail. In other words, forum is broken. ;)

:thumbup: Yep, was just saying that changing the resolution in options is not preventing bandwidth usage as it still downloads at full size.

I, too, miss the thumbnails in attached images. My archaic internet just bogs down on them at full size.
