[CLOSED]Flap position viewing hole

Why is this hole only on the right half of the wing? I have not seen any photo (well, one yes) or blueprint with this configuration.

 

Only V68 prototype, W.Nr. 170003 has no opening on the left.

That's right, there should definitely be an indicator for the left flap, too.

Learned something today!

 

Been "flying" Dora for a few months and never realized this flap position feature.

 

I just count 5 seconds: zero degrees to 10 degrees down, and 5 seconds back up. Zero degrees to full flaps down is 21 seconds and the same back up to zero position. The flaps set push button indicator on the left hand console is all I have used if I don't have a F2 view.

 

Nice feature as a backup.

I am at work right now looking over my reports, can anyone tell me real quick if this is in the release version yet, the fix? Otherwise I will check tonight.

Both indicators presents in both semiwings.
