VTJS17_Fire Posted September 11, 2014 Author Posted September 11, 2014 Hello Fire, thank you for all those awesome Tutorials. They really help pass the time to release. Have you considered crowd sourcing english subtitles to your videos? (Using a service like this for example) I'm sure there are a bunch of people who'd be happy to help out. Thanks! The main problem would be to generate a user account on YT with limited rights for that user. I don't want to share my main account (and all the personally data) with another person. And AFAIK, there isn't a feature for sub-accounts on YT. Nice videos even though I do not speak German it is very nice. Is there a way to get Russian or English subtitles? On the long road map, yes. English subtitles are planned. kind regards, Fire Hardware: Intel i5 4670K | Zalman NPS9900MAX | GeIL 16GB @1333MHz | Asrock Z97 Pro4 | Sapphire Radeon R9 380X Nitro | Samsung SSDs 840 series 120GB & 250 GB | Samsung HD204UI 2TB | be quiet! Mrgud Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 Hey Fire, nice videos! I just watched 2nd and 3rd, and I did enjoy them (although my German is not so good). I have a question regarding the take-off: shouldn't the pilot perform take-off with at least first stage afterburner engaged? I don't recall that I ever seen the MiG-21 take-off without the afterburner.
VTJS17_Fire Posted September 15, 2014 Author Posted September 15, 2014 Yep, it should. I prefer the T/O buster, so I could explain some phases in detail, as I departured. The same is done in the T/O Training Mission and I find it helpfull for the Tutorial. At my normal missions/ test flights, I'm doing the T/O always with gate. Note: In the Tutorial, I flew a clean aircraft (no weapons loaded). With so less drag on the plane, the buster T/O works very well. best regards, Fire Hardware: Intel i5 4670K | Zalman NPS9900MAX | GeIL 16GB @1333MHz | Asrock Z97 Pro4 | Sapphire Radeon R9 380X Nitro | Samsung SSDs 840 series 120GB & 250 GB | Samsung HD204UI 2TB | be quiet! KewlerMouh Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 How on earth can I download this? It freezes up every time and sometimes it even gives me warnings that I should install some download addons for my FF if I want do fetch more than 1GB, but it's just a bit over 100MB. But I never get an actual download running inside my browser. Using FF too, even with scriptblocker and it worked like a charm - there is a link from "user" https://yadi.sk/d/2454bN3WAurdq; I can highly recommend it! @Fire: Once again a great tutorial! You got another follower (in the shadows...)! 1
