I can't really find anything on the stick and throttle for 2000C, or any version of the 2000 for that matter. I can't really find any photos of it either, but from what I have seen, it looks really simplistic compared to other fourth generation fighters. How does it work?

Excellent pictures! Any idea what the buttons do?

Throttle: Magic/Gun selector. Radio selector. Radar range selector. Target lock/unlock switch.. Airbrakes.

Throttle: Magic/Gun selector. Radio selector. Radar range selector. Target lock/unlock switch.. Airbrakes.

Radar range is selected:

- radar control panel

- moving up/ down the TDC on radar display (like F-15C in FC3)

The "wheel" select radar elevation.

Next to it a button:

AA: slave Magic to radar lock

AG: radar ranging

NAV: navigation update by waypoint aiming (HUD cue) and ranging (radar)

TDC control is used to slew and lock. Unlock is done on stick thumb button.

Hey,

Here's some pictures a friend of mine took during the Paris Air Show last year.

There's some goods shots of the throttle.

When I was in the US Navy, we would have never allowed our Avionic panels to look that bad!! It looks like half of them are ready to rust out. Lazy ground crew.

This one is not in flying condition, this is 3rd production example, only for ground show :smilewink:

But yes it would deserve better cosmetic care !
