You can make yourself one very easily using a couple of PVC fittings and a Gardena fitting. I might buy another Gardena fitting to make a tutorial video. Cost was less than $20 Here's a pic of mine.

I have a 4" extension using the gardena fittings and a some pvc fittings. can't get it shorter then 4". Would like something around 3" or 80mm.

I was always the one saying why spend $80.00 or more when you can make one for around $20.00. Now I would like one of those $80.00 ones.

I used 2 - 1/2" pvc male adaptors and a 1/2 pvc coupling.

Here's a link to the gardena fitting.

Lucky,

Cut the center portion of the Gardena fitting on each side where the threads start and then cut out the center portion. This leaves the middle raised "ring" with threads on both sides.

Use a half round or rat tail file to file out the 2 metal fittings so you can easily fit a 3/4" PVC pipe through them (Only takes about 2 minutes).

Then cut a short length of 3/4" PVC pipe that is long enough to hold your modified (shortened with the appropriate pins broken out) PS2 cable.

Now glue and insert a 3/4" coupling fitting about 1/4" on to the end of your PVC pipe and cut off the fitting flush with the pipe.

Put both metal Gardena fittings on the pipe with the treaded parts facing out towards each end of the pipe.

Then glue and insert the other end of the pipe about 1/4" into the other side of the fitting that you cut off previously. Cut the fitting flush with the pipe just like you did the first time.

You should now have a length of pipe with both fittings on it facing outward that can't be removed.

The plastic center part of the Gardena fitting screws on to the grip, the pipe screws on to that, and the base screws on to the other fitting.

You may have to sand or file the ends of the pipe a little so that you catch enough threads on both ends. Make sure you keep your filing/sanding level. A small square works well to verify its perpendicular to the pipe.

Total cost is about $15.

As you can see from my pic above I wanted an angle to my stick so I use 2 45 degree fittings instead of a strait piece of pipe but the process is the same.

Hope this helps
