AMD Phenom II X6 1100T processor

8 GB ram

NVidia GTX-580 3 GB

I had that error after a crash one time.

I played around with the settings to no avail finally having to reinstall to get it working right again. Happened with a few of my games as I think of it. Far Cry2. Mafia. and Crysis.

I've always found that it is a proper PITA for the OS when switching videocards from AMD/nVidia, a re-install might be a good idea - but before you go down that path give DDU a tryout

if used correctly this will delete any traces of AMD and nvidia drivers in the system, then once done go ahead and install the drivers for your new card.

Spuds here is the fix.. You will need to download nVidia Inspector. then once you done that install it and run it. Once running look for Digitial Combat Series: Black Shark Profile and delete it...

Once you done that you should be able to run full screen again..

I don't get it? Why would anyone install a program that adds a profile then delete it. If it wasn't there in the first place after the deletion isn't he back to square one (as it were). Which indicates adding and then deleting isn't prudent? Or am I missing something?

Problem fixed!

I appreciate the help, I found by deleting the saved games folder for DCS my video returned to full screen after running a mission.

well either way he found a fix.. but the thing is the profile is there from installing nVidia drivers but you need nvidia inspector to delete it.. you may be able to delete it in the regular NCP But I Saw this was the way to do it..this is how I fixed it but he may have found a new fix I may try myself to see if it works..

I know this was did work as I use nvida 3dVision it 3D ONLY works in Full screen. until I deleted the profile it would not go in 3d or full screen..
