Hi Guys,

I have been getting crashes before and after Installing Mig21Bis. It is random... Sometimes after alot of tries I can fly a mission with no issues.. but then I can be loading missions and they crash every single time within 5 minutes. Sometimes there is no error... but then sometimes I do get a DCS.exe crash and I get a log file generated in the save games folder. I posted the 2 crashes I have so far below. Also.. Before you mention to do all the steps like reinstall C++ ... direct x... regenerate dcs folder... etc etc .. I have done all that and tried almost everything.. even reinstalling my videocard drivers. My video card is about a month old and It runs very cool... Highest temp under a stress test is 80c.. running 100% for about 15 minutes. Supply is also new... I do not have issues with other games... Even games that are more graphics intensive.

and have you modified your page file (ie set it to fixed size, or similar), or is it still at its Windows default setting?

Ok so I did alot of testing today with all of this... All my temps are super low ... I retested temps to make sure nothing is over heating and did stress test on cpu and gpu. THIS IS WHAT I FOUND OUT! So If I cleared the folders in DCS under saved games and start the missions/campaign/instant I run everything flawlessly BUT....... after around 15-30 missions/campaign/instant It starts crashing again... If I clear the Folders again everything works without errors but in the same cycle.... SO WEIRD!!! It kinda sucks I have to clear those folders every time the crashes start occurring to get it to work right but that is my solution to all of this for now... :(

okay...

is that like 15 - 30 missions etc in a row, one after the other... without closing DCS etc?

What have else have you installed just recently, and what (if any) other apps/ programs do you have running at the same time as the DCS?

I am only running the normal windows background programs... No 3rd party software is running. My game is downloaded from steam and I even have that shut off.... I run DCS from the game folder by right clicking and running as admin.

what OS do you use? Windows 7 or 8.1?

I noticed after crashed, the graphics quality would reduced? mirror view flickering and heliport flickering.

I restored it with reinstall all the related graphics hardware driver.

close the glcnd.exe and onenoteim.exe in the task manager before adjusting the graphics hardware and start the DCS World.
