Quick question for the FW-190 experts out there: Do we know what the Dora's maximum endurance and maximum range RPM settings are?

It would be great to be able to set my engine appropriately based on the mission criteria ensuring I still have enough fuel to fight when things get hot. If these numbers require specific altitudes that would also be good to know.

Thanks in anticipation

Generally you can fly for quite awhile at 2700 rpm but if you want to conserve fuel run in the 2100-2500 range and if possible over 3100m(supercharger kicks in somewhere between 2600-3100 usually). There is a sweet spot for the trim also in the 21-2500 range depending on altitude which makes it much easier to fly. Manual also recommends you cut the front fuel tank pump after takeoff to use up the rear first. I usually will run it at 2700 in areas I know are frequented by enemies to get my speed as high as possible.

Thanks that's a great info :)

I don't know if this document represents in game performance of FW-190. Plenty helpfull date you can find.

that's also really good, I was always wondering I usually stayed between 2000 to 3000 (2500 being cruising speed)

Yo-Yo said that current rudder set up is for cruising RPM 2200-2400. In this post i tried difference between cruise and full power fuel consumption.

Still when you know how to use your engine the most effective way, you can stay in the air as long as you need. After external fuel tank bug is resolved you can fly much longer or you can use higher power rating :pilotfly:
