Hoggorm Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 A friend of mine made a mission that we played yesterday. I would like to see the Tacview recording afterwards, but this only included my own flying, nothing else. Not allied units (mostly ground CA units) or any enemy units. Not even my gun rounds, AGMs or CBUs was shown, only where I flew. Any ideas what can solve this problem?
Hoggorm Posted November 7, 2014 Author Posted November 7, 2014 Here is the recording by the way: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/16066714/Tacview-20141106-225326-DCS.txt.zip
QuiGon Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 I think that is because of a server setting that prevents cheaters from exploiting the real-time functions of TacView for an unfair advantage. That's what I heard at least. It can be deactivated though as far as I know, so everything will be recorded. Only a few public servers allow that though :/ Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!
Hoggorm Posted November 7, 2014 Author Posted November 7, 2014 I see. I've never seen this before. Anyway - this is a private game, so how do we deactivate this cheat function?
Hoggorm Posted November 9, 2014 Author Posted November 9, 2014 I'm still looking for a solution to the problem why only my own aircraft is shown in the Tacview recording. The mission host is a friend who does not use Tacview yet, so there might be a setting he has selected without knowing it? This is not a problem with other servers. I’ve only seen it while flying on my friends server. Any help would be appreciated!
HiJack Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 The server must be set to allow export of objects. Config folder, file network.cfg allow_object_export = true,
Hoggorm Posted November 9, 2014 Author Posted November 9, 2014 I'm sure he did that, but I'll check again. Thanks!
