Cannot use Mig-21, it crashes (most of the times) on going in.

Cannot remove the module

The module is present in available and installed at the same time ??? (was the case before latest update).

Tried re-activating...no change.

It goes up to the blue progress bar for a while then crashes to desktop with windows error message "DCS has stopped working", and back to GUI.

Logs are attached. Thanks for the trouble

I had this same issue. I found my issue to be some kind of borked update, as my version seemed to be stuck on 1.2.10.xxxxx and could not update to 1.2.11.xxxxx. I tried to uninstall the MiG-21 module, but then when reinstalling, it said I needed a newer version (1.2.11.xxxxx) of DCS World. I tried running the manual repairs and updates from the cmd line and to no avail, I reverted to uninstalling the whole thing and starting over, and thankfully this fixed it for me. Hope it helps you guys out.

This is worth trying. Please confirm that your sim is on the correct version.

Your MiG-21 is crashing when loading the .dll. I have forwarded this to our programmers.

Thanks,

Nick

  • 2 weeks later...

I realized (doh...) that the mig-21 module had not updated to 1.2.11, so I updated manually.

Problem solved.
