=31st= Combined Ops Group - Server thread

Because our dedicated server (=31st COG= Dedicated) has seen a rise in popularity we have decided to create a thread where we can inform you of mission and server updates as well as possible events.

 

We are constantly updating our missions with new objective, new weather settings, moving targets and vehicles around in order to try and keep things "fresh" and interesting.

 

We would also like your feedback regarding our current missions, maybe you have an idea we haven't thought of or maybe you've found a bug whatever it is you can post it here. But this does not mean we will implement every suggestions.

 

Quick info about us:

 

We are a group of flight simulation enthusiasts focusing on DCS: World and FSX.

 

While we enjoy being challenged by realistic simulations, we prefer having fun over imitating reality where these goals conflict:

If you want to fly DCS with us, we will not make you read a stack of Standard Operating Procedures first.

 

We believe in learning by doing and wrecking a few virtual airframes in the process.

Current missions:

 

kill the chem factory

 

 

 

 

Red and Blue both have targets they have to defend and that the other side has to destroy.

- Red team has to defend a chemical complex (with storage tanks etc.) near Min. Vody

- Blue team has a predator station they have to defend (multiple vehicles) near Senaki

 

Both sides also have troops that they must defend / attack.

- Red side has troops that are defending Tschinvali and the Tunnel leading into Russian territory

- Blue has to attack those troops and once they are decimated there own units will advance.

 

 

Units:

Red: 4x Su-27 / 4x MiG-21 / 2x Mi8 / 2x Ka-50 / 2x Su-25t / 2x Su-25

Blue 4x F-15c / 4x A-10c / 4x MiG-21 / 2x UH-1 / 2x Ka-50 / 2x Su-25T / 2x A-10a

 

As you can see we try to keep the units in there respektive country but it's not always possible (SEAD, attack helo)

 

Weapons:

Long range A2A missiles are limited (5x 120b / 5x R-27ET / ---) every coalition airbase has the same amount.

Rush

 

 

 

 

It's a mission similar to the Battlefield gamemode rush.

 

The blue side has to destroy targets in a certain amount of time and red team has to stop them.

 

Units:

Red: 4x Su-27 / 4x MiG-21

Blue 4x F-15c / 4x A-10c / 4x MiG-21 / 2x UH-1 / 2x Su-25T / 2x A-10a

 

Weapons:

Long range A2A missiles are limited (5x 120b / 5x R-27ET / ---)

Airfield Attack

 

 

 

 

Both sides have to try and destroy trucks on the enemy's airfield.

 

Red has to attack blue trucks at Nalchik

Blue has to attack red trucks at Beslan

Red: 2x Su-25 / 5x MiG-21 / 2x UH-1 / 2x Mi8 / 2x A-10c / 4x F-86 / 2x Su-25t

Blue: 2x Su-25 / 5x MiG-21 / 2x UH-1 / 2x Mi8 / 2x A-10c / 4x F-86 / 2x Su-25t

Long range A2A missiles are limited

Hi !

 

Great server, I had great time on it this week. I do like the limited ammunition and realistic aircraft setup on the factory mission. :)

 

One note tho. You recently updated that mission, but we can't join awacs with the Mig21 anymore. Can you correct it please ?
