[REPORTED]Radiators Mode Selector labels mixed up

I think the labels of those controls are mixed up in the options.

when you bind the controls to your HOTAS the actions are reversed :

Radiators Mode Selector

==>"Zu" (Closed) Left - ==> right now it is OPEN

==>"Auf" (Open) Right ==> right now it is CLOSED

Not sure if this needs an extra topic but the controls for the governor automations are also turned around.

ON in the options = OFF in the game and vice versa

Could you please specify what is wrong here?

I think you are talking about these options:

Governor Automation OFF (LCtrl+S): currently sets Governor Automation Switch up

Governor Automation ON (LShift+S): currently sets Governor Automation Switch down

Manual on p. 100 states:

The propeller pitch can be manually overridden via Governor Automation Switch located alongside the throttle lever. The switch is normally set to the lower (Automatic), but can be manually set to the upper (Manual) position. That enables the "Drehzahl" Proppeller Pitch Rocker Switch on the throttle lever.

It is recommended to keep the Governor Automation Switch in the Automatic position during normal engine operation, and only switch to manual in case of an emergency.

Also the Automatic function seems to be flawed - the automatics should work (open and close the radiator flaps) to keep the coolant temperature between 85-90 degrees Celsius. In DCS K-4, they seem to attempt to keep them at much higher temperatures.

See this test with 109G (if anyone knows of different radiator kinematics for the 109K, please let me know)

In addition, the bottom position of the Coolant mode switch is wrongly labeled in the cocpit - it should read "Ruhe" (Still, Fixed or Off) and should fix the radiator flaps in their current position.

You had reported this already:

http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2244553&postcount=760

It is already fixed internally (ticket #28770).

BTW: I find it strange that "Sturz" looks like "Stuvi" in this image.

Thank you. Reported as ticket #28870.

This (and the corresponding tooltips) is now fixed internally.

Ah, sorry - was my fault as I thought the option was to turn the manual control on or off.

But as it´s the automation it´s fine as it is.

Never mind :music_whistling:

Thank you for clarifying.

It's "Stuvi" in the picture: "Sturzvisier".

Maybe the labels on the plate weren't changed for the K-4.
