flygav Posted December 14, 2014 Posted December 14, 2014 After one of the updates F15 lost control ability on my joystick. No matter how I adjusted it I cant get good control on joystick axis. It just so sloppy I cant even taxi (and lost all auto pilot keyboard functions). Then the update for the SU 27, I got the same thing. What has corrupted my joystick calibration beyond repair and no auto pilot? Is their some file I need to delete? I hope I dont have to reinstall everything? Thanks

Thanks This is Likely due to the F-15 Being Updated to an Professional Flight Model Starting with 1.2.9 Onward, In which controls for some systems were re-assigned completely, You'd have to clear and re-do key bindings for the F-15C. See Here: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=122788 Then the SU-27 recently was updated to a New PFM as well, (1.2.11) Same situation, you'd have to clear key bindings and re-do them as system commands have changed. Raptor13270 Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 I'm experiencing the same problem. A week ago, I didn't have this problem. However, due to a recent update - I noticed that when pull the X55 stick backwards, not only the elevator moves but maybe the rudder and the aileron controls as well. I noticed that when I pulled back on the stick, the aircraft pitches up and rolls to the right. If I push the stick, the aircraft pitches down and rolls to the left. This happened on the F-15 and the Su-27, and yes - I flew them with PFM before last week. Its an issue with my stick, because I tried Falcon BMS right after and the axes were fine. Does this mean I need to rebind everything again, even though I already binded my keys to the new PFM controls?
cichlidfan Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 Same situation, you'd have to clear key bindings and re-do them as system commands have changed. The new, since v1.2.8, diff.lua file system should have prevented any conflicts from being created. (Just the axis settings). I've had this happen when the usb device changes addresses or drivers. Basically the Axes all get assigned together, so: Stick Axis + (up) pitch would cause roll right, right rudder, throttle up etc. Stick Axis - (down) pitch would cause roll left, left rjdder, throttle.down, etc it varies based on device and orientation of the axes, but you get the idea. This is likely what you're seeing. I cleared all the settings and reset them but it didn't change anything. Does it need to be different key setting altogether? if so where do I find those?
Psicodreamics Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 I have the same problem with f15 like flygav after updating today. Also trim reset button didnt work. Raptor13270 Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 Okay, I tried clearing and reconfiguring all my axes. Problem is still there. Here's the video: as you can see, my stick was pretty straight when performing pitch up and down maneuvers. I didn't apply any rudder. Why is the aircraft rolling? It also rolls when I pull/push the stick very slightly. It doesn't seem right. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mdWesByVOMU&feature=youtu.be Was this movement caused by a recent PFM update and is it supposed to be realistic? If its supposed to be how the F-15 and the Su-27 react, why does it behave that way?
panther494th Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 iv posted about this prob before admin zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz not a word on it
Raptor13270 Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 Yeah, it turns out that this is not a combined axes problem. My recording shows my virtual stick as straight when performing pitch up/down, and rudders were not even engaged. I think something's wrong with the flight model.

Otherwise it all is just guesswork (i.e. I had no problems at all when I tried it just 5 minutes ago).
Raptor13270 Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 (edited) Will do. I'll post it tomorrow. For now, I should probably let you guys know that I'm currently using an X-55 Rhino. Edited December 16, 2014 by Raptor13270 Added extra information

Notice during takeoff, the aircraft immediately does a clockwise roll. I corrected that, and flew straight and proceeded to do a slight pitch up and an aggressive pitch up maneuver. Then I tried to pitch down. I only used the pitch controls. No roll or rudder at all. Update: I also tried testing without external tanks. I didn't experience these problems at all. Something is up with the flight model with the external tanks on. https://www.dropbox.com/s/wdfr1m4d7l91n4n/F-15C%20Control%20-%20No%20Ext%20Tanks.trk?dl=0 Edited December 16, 2014 by Raptor13270
flygav Posted January 1, 2015 Author Posted January 1, 2015 I could post a track but you just see a plane all out of control. That is if I could make taxi but really cant taxi without going in the rough. I hope i dont have to reinstall everything...

I havent read all 23 pages to that post, but that sounds like the cause of the issue. But havent found any info on how to fix it. Deleting and remapping has had no effect. so I'm out of ideas to fix it and wonder if reinstalling would even do it.
