Vinny002 Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 Hi, guys! I'm not 100% sure, is the oxygen seem to be flowing too fast in the dcs mig-21bis at high altitude in the latest update? Thanks! Cheers, Vincent
Flagrum Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 Why do you think that? What exactly did you have observed?
Vinny002 Posted January 12, 2015 Author Posted January 12, 2015 (edited) Hi, Flagrum! Because I think the oxygen supply in the mig-21 should last for about 8-10 hours at high altitude but I'm not sure. Thanks! Cheers, Vincent Edited January 12, 2015 by Vinny002
Art-J Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 Why should it, if the plane can't even fly that long? With 3 external tanks and fuel consumption of about 2000-2200 l/h at 10000m altitude (rough estimation, based on consumption figures for configuration with one tank and two missiles), the MiG will run dry after 2-2.5 hours anyway. i7 9700K @ stock speed, single GTX1070, 32 gigs of RAM, TH Warthog, MFG Crosswind, Win10.
Iberian Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 Oxygen lasts longer than flight time in case a quick turn around on the ground is necessary, oxygen is still remaining for the following flights. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Buzzles Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 (edited) Hi, Flagrum! Because I think the oxygen supply in the mig-21 should last for about 8-10 hours at high altitude but I'm not sure. Thanks! Cheers, Vincent Really? This again? You've previously written on this forum that you think the Mig21 O2 supply should last as long as an A10c (and asked plenty of other questions about Mig 21 O2), but offered no proof or reason why it should when asked. What's your reasoning behind it supposedly lasting far far far beyond its maximum flight duration? Edited January 12, 2015 by Buzzles Fancy trying Star Citizen? Click here!
