We have been working at getting our webshop up and running.

And now i can announce that its ready. We are slowly adding our products as they get ready for sale, at the moment the things we have presented in the for sale section is allready there.

The prices are the same, alltho everyone outside EU can buy EX. VAT. you can see it here: http://www.lynx.dk

The rest of the website it still in the works, so there might not be much info on all the pages, but it will slowly get there.

And as an update, im working on the consoles, and you will see more about that in the near future.

Also, the panels are in the works, here you can see the finished looks of the glareshield panels, in the glareshield houses, with the ext. Stores Jettison Switch Guard installed.

Im working on a switch top for the Fire. Ext. Switch.

Again, the yellow stripes on the panels, will be available at some point, when we start on making Stickers.

A Little Update:

Its been some time, and i have been busy, and can show you this Right Console Prototype, made from the plans i will be offering for free later on.

There is some small adjustments and something i need to add before its ready to go...

The rail system you see are 3D printed DZUS Rail Replicas.

The Rails are made to fit real Panels, and also those i will be offering. Simply my using M4 screws, or my DZUS Replicas.

Thank you :)

A little more info, its build of 6mm MDF, and its "tapped" together like a big puzzle.

After it was assembled, i glued it together with wood glue, and now its very very sturdy.

There are some small details still to add, and this one was Laser cut, we also need to test a handcut version before releasing the drawings.

Regards.

Ah, don't be silly. You don't have to go overboard! I mean, you could, say, just do the left and right consoles with nothing in them for only $3,200. :noexpression: Or maybe just the engine cluster for a mere $3000. :no_sad:

I was actually thinking about the fuel gauge panel at one point. "Oh look! It looks pretty decent and it's only $160.00." Until I realized that was just for the light panel. You want it populated, it goes up to $550.00, and if you want it "plug-and-play" it jumps to $1005.22!! Over a thousand dollars for one panel?? Um, no. I think I'll wait for Lynx!

Buttons aren't toys! :smilewink:

Hi everyone,

Just got my new glare shield from Lynx a couple of days ago.. It looks great! It will be awhile before I install it, but when I do i'll post the pics.

Thanks Lynx for all the extra effort. (Post office in Denmark ran over the original package and destroyed it)

Hi, Lynx

Thank you very much for sharing your great plans and products!

However, there's a little error in your MIP .dxf (I didn't download the .pdf but I suppose it was exported from the .dxf):

For the MFCD, the horizontal offset between the top mounting hole and the bottom one is 5,1mm according to the Elbit 5” x 5” AMLCD datasheet. Your plans' is 4,7 mm as I measured it. Both values are in the Elbit plans but it seems to me that you got them inverted. I noticed it because I was drawing my MFCD and when I drag it and put it on top of your drawings the backplate bottom mounting holes are a little bit off.

Best regards!

Simparts.de A-10 panels are inaccurate, and worse yet, garbage to look at. On top of that, they have the balls to charge you both arms and legs for shoddy work...

pass

There is one positive feature to the exorbitant unrealistic prices they are offering... They won't stay in business very long. Cockpit builders might be a little wacky but we aren't idiots by any means.

Your right, i have mistaken the 4,7 to be the offset, when its the distance to the outer edge of the panel.

Thank you for letting me know :) i will correct it and upload a newer version. :)

LynxDK I was kinda thown over here from another thread. I seem to recall that you guys had a prototype of the UFC. How is progress on that? Mine starts to show sign of usage and may need replacement☺️

Pit looks great. I may have to come by you with few real parts to see if they fit. You can PM me if that is an option you want. Unsure how much it will benefit you as I do not have that much to show and I seem to recalll your measurements was taken from a real bird so they should fit. Anyway the option is there.

Cheers

Thank you Hans, i will do that :)

And You are correct.

The UFC shares the same build "technique" ad the CDU because of the pushbuttons and the backlight of course.

We are in the process of finding the best solution for making the PCB's, wheter we make them ourself, or get them made elsewhere.

I cant say when we will be ready, since we have so much going on, and by saying we, the Development is mainly me, my partner is working on all the electronics and the Coding. But right now, hes working on getting the CUB ready for the market, and then hes back on the UFC/CDU PCB project :)

The A-10C Panels are slowly getting ready for sale.

We are going to offer 2 types of Panels.

A DIY version, That can easily be backlit by placing any light source behind it. That means that the Backplate will be Acrylic too, so the light can travel through it.

The second type will be the Panels build like the Real Panels are, with the Backlight embedded in the Light Plate, and with a Aluminum Backplate.

This type of Panels are going to take some more prototyping before we can make those available.

So for starters we are going to make the DIY version.

This Lighting Panel underneath is a protoype, there is some small Details i need to change with the text. Of course what you see is not the finished product, screws, switch guards and the backplate are being made as i write this post.

I have alot of the panels designed and ready to be cut, with the exeption of the more complex panels, where an instrument or a LCD screen are involved.

The rest will be ready for sale very soon.

The panels is Made of Opaque Acrylic, which is painted and then engraved on a CNC Router.

The Engraving are very sharp and precise, and the paint are very durable.

Its has chamfered edges, Milled holes on the back to make room for fastening the Switches and potentiometers.

Its not painted on the back, so placing a lightsource behind it will make the panel light up.

Im also working on a 3D printed back Casing, which makes it possible to mount backlight strips, and arduino in the unit.

And of course, the panel and the parts, can be purchased individually, so you are not forced to buy the complete pack if you only want the light plate and backplate.

More panels will follow :)

Now this will be good. When will we be seeing prices?

Im working on that :)

I need to finish the Backplates before i can say anything....

They need to be painted and engraved :)

when i have the final time, i can calculate the final price. :)

So when i begin to show the panels with backplates mounted, i can also release the price :)

Regards.
