BFBunny Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 I tried flying it both through the quick mission editor and through simply putting the A10A on an airfield and setting it to the yellow, player. Game loads as normal showing A10 in briefing then short blue flicker and straight to map. All the other FC3 planes are flyable and there is no problems with other plane modules. I expect a re-install or re-registering the FC3 module is required, but if anyone knows a quick fix let me know. I've only ever used it once when the game was previously installed on a different drive and just got interested to fiddle with the A to see if I'd fancy buying the C. Cheers.
Ironhand Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 If the other F3 aircraft are flyable and it's only the A-10A that you can't access it shouldn't be a registration issue. Have you tried a repair? IIRC, you access it through: Start Menu/Programs/Eagle Dynamics/DCS/repair. You might want to try that before doing anything more extreme. I'd uninstall it first and check to make sure that all the files are actually gone before reinstalling. And just to double check. We are talking about the A-10A and not the A-10C, correct? My biggest fear was that you were going to come back and say: There are two? :) So there is definitely something wrong with your installation. Although, I suppose, not having a problem, just a misunderstanding, would be preferable. BFBunny Posted January 17, 2015 Author Posted January 17, 2015 Thanks for taking the trouble Ironhand. Looks like it was an easy fix. Just ran the newest fc3 installer and the A10A works just fine. I was a bit worried I'd have to use another activation code which stopped me doing that in the first place. Not that interested in the A to be honest, but y'know. Gotta get them all ;) Maybe when I've finished with the fw190.

DarkCrow Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 I am having the same issue with the Su 27. I bought FC3 on sale and haven't gotten around to trying the Su 27. When I try it now it won't let me in the aircraft. F15 C is fine (I bought it as stand alone), and the A10 A is fine. I tried running a repair and reinstalling FC3. Any other suggestions?

Path to the folder is: C:\Users\{username}\Saved Games\DCS. Rename the DCS folder to something else. Then start the sim. It'll create a new folder for you. If that doesn't work, then I'm not sure what to tell you to try, since you have also tried repair and reinstalling. I have a limited amount of high speed internet usage ( Hughes Net), so I can't do a full DCS reinstall right now. I used the last of it for this month re-downloading FC3.
