Hi all

Again new to all this. My saitek pro rudder pedals won't work. I can't get brakes to come off once I press brake pedals the brakes lock on! And when I use pinky switch to engage steering I dont think anything happens.

Please help

For saitek pedals, you need to tick the "reverse axis" check box for both brake axes in the options panel.

Good, fast, cheap. Choose any two.

I have tried reveres axis and swap axis. Dosen't seem to make a difference! I have installed saitek smart software, would that cause problems.

Make sure that no other input device is bound to the brake axes and interferes with your input.

Never used it but entirely possible, yes. All the necessary options are available from within the game, so i would not install any other software that interferes with the input data.

I just got my Warthog HOTAS and Saitek Combat pedals yesterday, and for me, that Saitek software messed up a few things with my setup...I got rid of it and now everything works as it should. I think the culprit for me is that Mad Katz crap.

The TARGET software for the TM is a bloody mess too.

Good luck!

Thanks all seems to be sorted now. But the next issue is that even hands off hog seems to roll left? Do I have to adjust dead zone?

If by roll you mean aileron roll, yes, totally normal! A-10C isn't a 100% balanced aircraft and any crosswind will add its effect, as well.

You need to anticipate the little roll and once airborne trim the plane. Whenever you change the speed/throttle setting you should adjust trim...

If you don't trim, you need to constantly hold the stick to counter.

The EAC (autopilot) helps stabilize and fly the plane straight if you need to configure weapons or do other stuff.

In general expect all DCS AFM/EFM/PFM aircraft to behave like real ones... they don't fly straight and level unless you trim.
