hello, since the game use very large terrains, it would be cool to have some ABC weapons (Atomic, Biological and Chemical) also known as WMDs.

Atomic weapons could be added as artillery shell, as bomb dropped by a military plane or as missile, fired from somewhere for example the main base when you call nuke support. it could be effective against a large area covered by enemies.

chemical weapons would be effective against infantry, can be also added as artillery shell, mortar shell or as helicopter/plane bomb. it would create a deadly smokecloud in that area, killing all who are inside the deadzone.

biological weapons like above but no smoke or anything, infantry would die slowly by sickness and could also spread, for example, when one soldier who was hit by biological weapon goes to soldiers who arent hit by biological weapon, he could spread his sickness to some or all of them.

I lost it at "when you call nuke support" ...

"Sledgehammer. Hawk 1. I've got visual on a technical with insugents, heading towards our lines!"

"Hawk 1, Sledgehammer. You are cleared to engage!"

"Sledgehammer, Hawk 1. Negative. I dropped my last two Mk 84 on that goat herder a few clicks south ... requesting nuke support!"

"Hawk 1, Sledgehammer. Affirm. Nuke is on the way."

"Sledgehammer, Hawk 1. Copy! ... uhm, Sledgehammer ...?"

"Yeah?"

"What does the term "Danger Close" mean by the way?"

"...."

Completely useless. Chemical weapons? Most modern military vehicles don't suffer from that due to air processing. Soldiers can also wear ABC gear...

Biological weapons? More useless since DCS models missions of some hours and not weeks.

I don't like that weapons at all from a human Point. From a strategic point, biological weapons are not much more than a morale weapon. Nobody used them because you can't control it's spread, the area will stay contaminated forever and you will end up with a nuke in your garden.

These types of weapons would be better suited for campaigns, where their effects could impact future missions and such for sure... although chemical and biological wouldnt make for very interesting missions, a tactical nuke might, I think it was Janes F/A-18 that had them, or one of those older sims did...
