159th Recruiting

The 159th is currently undergoing some restructuring following the recent loss of our original CO (159th_Bear_F) who unfortunately has been forced to step down due to other work and real life related commitments.

 

We feel that now would be the ideal time to bring some fresh faces to the squad, restructure and move forward.

 

We currently have two active wings; Fighter Wing operating the Su-33 and Strike Wing operating the Su-25T. At the moment both operate from Krymsk in the LOMAC world, but we are looking at bringing back regular carrier ops for the Su-33 pilots. Given enough interest amongst our members, we are also planning to add the Ka-50 to our line as soon as Black Shark is released.

 

We fly regularly via a private direct IP connection (usually on Thursdays and Sundays) concentrating on squad related tactics and attempt to provide our pilots with a professional but enjoyable environment in which to induldge their hobby (off line however we are generally a bunch of lunatics so a good sense of humour would come in handy!). Most of us are based in the UK, but we have members from Holland and Canada as well. We welcome applicants from anywhere on the face of the planet, but please bear the differences in time zones and how this can effect your ability to join squad flights.
