EngineerFalcon Posted February 13, 2015 Posted February 13, 2015 Hello, I am having trouble getting my Saitek profile to work in-game. The stick itself is working fine, so I thought I'd try using a profile for added functionality. I set most of my controls directly in DCS World and only used the profile editor for keys I could not map otherwise (ex. The scrollweel is mappedyby default to mouse right click). Now, clicking the pinkie switch would bring up a Microsoft NET error and crashed the software, so I gave up on that. Setting up the profile itself was pretty straightforward. After loading, it correctly showed up on my MFD. But testing it both with the "test profile" button and in Black Shark did not seem to work. Here's what I think happened : The "Shift" indication on the MFD seemed to stay on even while I was not holding the switch. I assume that's why my buttons didn't register, but maybe I missed a step somewhere ? Is the profile loading more complicated than just hitting "Load profile" ? Thanks in advance.

Tone71 Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 Does indeed sound like the button click is registering as being held down. Go to Windows properties of your x52 and untick the box that says something like Latch buttons (not at my PC, can't check exact label).
