IvanK Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 I get this shadow or reflection line on the right hand side of the canopy when I look towards the rear. The line moves forward and aft with my sight line. It only occurs on the right hand canopy section regardless of sun position angle.
SlipBall Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 yes I've got that too, same position, must be a bug
Echo38 Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 (edited) Are you sure your virtual head isn't intersecting the canopy glass? (This is a long-standing bug with the P-51D.) It looks to me like this is what that is. "One of your (virtual) eyes" is inside the canopy and the other is outside. Of course, it isn't binary, but a gradient ... In this case, I believe it only occurs on the right side because your virtual head is, by default, closer to the right side of the canopy than the left, 'coz of the right-of-center gunsight. Buzzles Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 Yeah, this is definitely clipping through the canopy, nothing to do with reflection. Fancy trying Star Citizen? Click here!
oshtwtf Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 Yeah, this is definitely clipping through the canopy, nothing to do with reflection. Sorry for the "threadromancy..." Is there any way to fix this, as is, where the module stands? It's a real immersion killer for me... :(
Sarge55 Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 I think if you put the sight down your pilot head will re-center in the cockpit. Just put the sight up when in combat.
