Why do every country copy each others jets, Izeral coppied USA, poland and alot of others have copied Russia... Like why dont other counties come up with there own planes, and why would you give your plane to another country... Granted if you are allies but what happens if that realtion ship hits the can and they start using your jets agisnt you...? my point is why do countires have replacas of jets....:helpsmilie:

In many cases even the largest combat aircraft producers which are USA and Russia - if they want to have new planes for themselves, they find it necessary to cover their own costs by selling number of these planes to their allies.

 

So for example if Russia wants to introduce brand new MiG-29M or Su-27M fleet into their own Air Forces, it surely will look first for contracts with their allies.

Well they still remember the lesson when they sold brand new tech. fighter jets F-14s to Iran, just a moment before Iranian revolution and Ayatollah's rise to power. ;)

Yes there was some irony in that wasn't there - The US installs, supports & arms an unpopular dictator to protect their interests against the Muslims & the Communists, only to have those arms fall into the hands of the very people they were supposed to be used against when he's overthrown.

I believe both Russians and Americans spied and copied from each other.

Just look at the designs. It's all about espionage.

Alternativly, just grab your ex enemies designers and engineers and get them to accelerate your aircraft/space program (and get the C.I.A.thrown in as a bonus) alls fair in love, war and business.......especialy business:music_whistling:........:megalol:
