t4trouble
I've tried to make JSGME mod (Mig 15 no gun smoke ) the same as the sabre mod tbl.effects = {{ name = "FireEffect" , arg = tbl.effect_arg_number or 436 }, { name = "HeatEffectExt" , shot_heat = 7.823, barrel_k = 0.462 * 2.7, body_k = 0.462 * 14.3 }, { name = "NoSmokeEffect"}} -- was SmokeEffect This is the sabre verison above. This is the MIG version below.Note in the mig version there is 2 gun types. tbl.effects = {{ name = "FireEffect" , arg = tbl.effect_arg_number or 436 }, { name = "HeatEffectExt" , shot_heat = 7.823, barrel_k = 0.462 * 2.7, body_k = 0.462 * 14.3 }, { name = "NoSmokeEffect"}} -- was SmokeEffect end When I enable the mod through JSGME the plane disappears from mission editor and instant missons won't load with an error msg. Invisibull
Hi Lilkiki, Your rate of fire for the F-86's Browning M3 is way low. Should be 1250 rounds per minute. i9 9900k - GTX 2080 Ti - MSI Z87 GD65 Mobo - 64GB HyperX Predator RGB DDR4 3200MHz - Win10 64 bit - TM Warthog w FSSB R3 mod - TrackIr 5. Lilkiki
Hi Invisibull, thanks for the link ! I don't know if "rates = {875}" are Per/Minute ? Can you confirm this ? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Invisibull
I don't know if "rates = {875}" are Per/Minute ? Can you confirm this ? Yes, that's my understanding, Lilkiki. Also, we make this change to the burst length: max_burst_length = 267 The original post about this topic is here. A final note, for higher realism is to vary the firing rates for each gun. For example, have one gun at 1200, another at 1185, etc. This will reflect the fact that the firing rates were never exactly the same from gun to gun. Merci for all you great mods, Lilkiki :) Bull i9 9900k - GTX 2080 Ti - MSI Z87 GD65 Mobo - 64GB HyperX Predator RGB DDR4 3200MHz - Win10 64 bit - TM Warthog w FSSB R3 mod - TrackIr 5.
