DPS Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 Just in case anyone thought that I got the Battle Damage video right first time here are some outtakes http://www.the-eighth-art.com/Su-25TBloopers_0001.wmv Compared with the A-10 the Su-25T is a real delicate doily. Personally, I would rather go to war in a Cessna 172 (and have the enemy die laughing!). But full credit to the developers for the modelling. I was impressed by the way the model sat down on its oleos as the elevator was replaced and the ordnance reloaded. Good one. DPS.
chris2802 Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 Just a quick side note....I noticed in the first post you mentioned the 25t is prone to blowing up. Do you mean instantly when the missile impacts, or later on? If it's later on, then you just shut down the burning engine(s) and the plane won't explode. Chris

DPS Posted April 25, 2006 Author Posted April 25, 2006 Lack of practice, no knowledge of the Su-25T. Had to check the outside view to see what was going on by which time...too late...bang! In the Ctrl R scene I couldn't even find the fuel quantity gauge!! I started with a Stinger MANPAD but it was pretty well wiping me out every time. At least with the AAA I could get to an airfield to complete the movie.
chris2802 Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 Yeh I saw he got a couple of instant kills...even when he didn't, the plane was ripped to pieces! wouldn't have made the runway, burning or otherwise! -Chris
SUBS17 Posted April 26, 2006 Posted April 26, 2006 If your aircraft is on fire shutting the engines down helps:D . [sIGPIC] [/sIGPIC]
