Hey.. I am New to DCS.

But one of the first things I did, was looking for "Mods".

And I am rly impresset what you can do in DCS. Not a lot stuff, but nice stuff ;)

And i can play Online with others who does not have these Mods. Now thats ****ing Awesome.

I am a huge modder but i never had a game who can do that.

So google Mods and install them now !

Haha now i am Mod addicted. :helpsmilie:

PS: Screw Grammar :,)

Example (DCS Real Life Graphics / Ultra High )

I don't use mods whatsoever. I was tempted to install a shaders mod that is around but since DCS 2.0 is so close to release I prefer to wait and see the difference

My rig specs:

Intel Core i7 4770 @3.4Ghz // Corsair 16GB DDR3 // MoBo Asus Z87K // HDD 1TB 7200RPM // eVGA Nvidia GTX 760GT 2GB DDR5 // LG 3D 47" 1920x1080 // Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS // Saitek Combat Pro Pedals // Thrustmaster MFD Cougar pack // PS3 Eye + FTNOIR

Hello,

Me I use many mods (shader, ground textures, 3D models, sounds, cockpit, ect) but using my DCS without all my mods it's just impossible.

About the DCS v2.0 in first I will install all the cockpit's mods, sound's mods and all the objects's mods, for the ground textures et shader wait & see...

Mods for improve visibility distance and textures are really improving the game. There are also some fixes that repair small mistakes and of course cockpit retextures that improves or give more options to people.

Object mods (new ground units) are awesome but unless everyone has them they are a loss online.

Armament mods or new flyable are creating confusion in the community so it is probably better to stick with the default set, unless one's playing single player only.
