hegykc Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 Hi are there not any keyboard bindings/shortcuts for Radio channel selection, RSBN Navigation channel and PRMG Landing channel selection? I can't seem to find them in the control settings... or am I missing something. www.replikagear.com

EagleFox Posted July 26, 2015 Posted July 26, 2015 I don't think you need shortcuts for that. You don't use them often. EDIT: I meant to say when you use it it dosen't require much of clicking.

I'ts just nice to be able to have it in your muscle memory. For example: Say you are in a 2 ship of mig21s. You are navigating of RSBN, flight lead calls out next steerpoint. You have to take your eyes of your lead, look down and to the left to see the RSBN channel selector to be able to manipulate it. Whammy Blammy and you have yourself a mid-air collision. EagleFox Posted July 26, 2015 Posted July 26, 2015 Flight lead is woring about navigation not you thats how its in real life. Just follow him **** everything else.
Home Fries Posted July 26, 2015 Posted July 26, 2015 So what is the disadvantage for having them mapped to keys for those of us who would prefer to have it mapped to MFDs? Because in the real world a pilot will find the knob by feel (and with a glance) as opposed to focusing on it while trying to move a mouse to a knob behind the throttle so he can properly click it. Just because you don't need them mapped doesn't mean that mapping them is not useful. -Home Fries My DCS Files and Skins My DCS TARGET Profile for Cougar or Warthog and MFDs F-14B LANTIRN Guide
Need-To-Know Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 Yeah I have around 100 switches, buttons and knobs between GoFlight panels, Warthog, MDFs, Programmable keyboard, mouse. I try not to have to use the mouse when flying. Keeping my right hand on the stick not the mouse. Fight to fly, fly to fight, fight to win. Callsign: Need Shu-Ha-Ri
PiedDroit Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 Keeping my right hand on the stick not the mouse.Try putting the mouse on left hand, works great
