At the end of the mission, below the briefing window is a Save Track button.

Also, should you ever forget to save, DCS saves the last track recorded automatically in your temp folder. This also goes for the .miz file, if you were editing a mission and decided to play it.

I had some problems with the records. The AI and "I" flew such stupid paths which never hapened in the original, after a turn mainly straight into the ground for example.

 

Dont know if thats only a problem by me or maybe is it fixed but I thought Ill tell you my experiences of the Tracks.

Long standing issues. Track replay can be hit or miss sometimes. Also, fast forwarding can introduce errors.

Tracks recorded in previous versions of DCS can sometimes be incompatible with current version too.

This is one of my big complaints about DCS. I love to make movies but it is so hard to get a good .trk file to record from.
