It may be worth checking the aircraft is still on the ground and in position until all the guys are on board. Mission 5 took me quite a few attempts and I ended up getting a bit frustrated and lifting straight off the pad and was half way to the sea by the time with doors closed and the extra weight kicked in.

.

About this: I just tried mission #5 myself and there was no problem at all. The guys entered and then I got the cleared for takeoff. But what I'd totally forgotten about was the new calendar/sun movement. It was just before sunrise and dark as hell! (earlier version was way past sunrise) And that VERY dangerous AAA on top of that tall building...it was asleep. Didn't fire a single shot until I was like 200 yards away from it. But guess what, I won't change a thing. This was perhaps for the better good :)

After dropping off the RPG guys by the oil containers they just sat there on the roof watching the tank while the APCs rolled on by (luckily the tank just watched the APCs so it was all a little bit voyeuristic) and I didn't get the all clear from them until well after the AAA at the airfield was gone and I'd destroyed the aircraft. I've come across similar scripting bugs before in other missions where it seems like the troops don't say they've finished moving and are in position for ages.

About this: Just tried it and yes they just sat there on the roof. But they all fired off two or three RPGs each. Didn't make a dent on that tank

Will sort this tomorrow

To summarize: I test everything like three times before release and I try to make things as waterproof as possible. But as you can all see, nothing is guaranteed to work after every update.

That's really the big problem. At least I can say that the whole campaign was still playable w/o major problems. The only thing I also noticed (sometimes) was the problem with the soldiers running into your Huey. But it seems like it depends where exactly you land.

However, will be "fun" to see what will still work or not, once they move the Caucasus map to DCS 2.5.... Also, some missions/landings might become a lot harder due to the collision detection with the trees, especially when thinking of mission 5.

Keep up the good work and I'm looking forward for your Vietnam campaign and any other future Manny missions

@rge75: Thanks buddy :) And yeah, I'm already mentally prepared for the big move to 2.5.

I'm assuming there will be work to do. But that's OK, the end goal is pretty damn worth it :)

Both Hogs campaign have been updated with mission #7 now. That tank DOES explode, if you manage to get the hitsquad in place that is

No troops needed due to the weapons of the Gazelle ;-) It would need some major adjustments to the campaign though because the Gazelle can attack from further range and has no room for transportation. But it would probably destroy the whole Bay of Hogs experience. It's fine the way it is with the Huey (or, as suggested with the Mi8).
