Is there a fix for the GUI looking like this at higher than 1080p resolution?

What resolution are you running, Ultra Wide by any chance? I used to run 2560x1440 with no problem, but that is a 16:9 aspect ratio.

Seems like your resolution is larger then the GUI backgrounds.

If that is the case, not much you can do other then use your own wallpapers.

I'm running either 3840x2160 or 1440x2560 on a 3840x2160 monitor.

I'm surprised nobody else, that's running 4k, has mentioned this. Ionic Ripper is almost certainly correct that the images ED is using are smaller than your screen resolution.

Nothing you can do about it unless you want to enlarge the images in Photoshop or something.

Fix the GUI to work at resolutions other than 1080x1920

It would be nice if the GUI scaled itself up for resolutions higher than 1920x1080. Currently when you run it at 1440x2560 or 3840x2160 all the images shrink and the buttons fall out of scale.

I running DSR settings and the sim doesn't respond with the increased settings. I increase the DSR but the sim increases itself instead of reducing.

I started upscaling the UI screens, when I'm back home I'll upload them. It's a JSGME compatible mod so it doesn't conflict with updates. Currently I reworked some basic screens, a lot more to do.

Check you've selected the "new" virtual resolution in the options! It now scales the Sim, yet you need to run in full screen mode.

Window mode will just center a 1080 box on top of your larger 4k "window".

Ok so that means no mfd or extra monitors.

Basically yes. In theory you can do a "larger resolution" like with 1080p, but with current GPUs I doubt you can render a screen size in excess of 4k!?

GTX970 has a maximum resolution of 4096x2160 that is pretty much the limit at the moment.

The way to fix this is just set your desktop resolution to 1440x2560

then the GUI launcher will look normal, you can then run the game itself at any res you like. If 3840x2160 is set the launcher will change when you start the mission
