In reference to the blurb on the video stating the Hawk can't be re-armed, I think it can, but only via the lalt-' rearm/refuel menu shortcut, rather than via the radio (which doesn't work).

Looking forward to this bird getting it's PFM and proper weapon load out, will be quite fun as shown by the video :)

I should have mentioned, I tried that too. At a friendly airbase, at several places where I'm usually lucky. I just got the answer "can't comply" Even tried it at the aircraft carrier without any luck.

But really, it will be fixed. And I'll be flying the Hawk a LOT :)

When all the missing features are implemented, it will be a nice COIN aircraft! I want to use both the Hawk and the C-101 for this. Currently I just fly the MiG-21 for the Task :D

I think the C-101 will be better for COIN warfare as it can carry a lot more ammo than the Hawk.

I don't understand anything in russian except Davai Davai!

Well then you might be interested in it's COIN use in the Congo by the Air Force of Zimbabwe (AFZ) in the current issue of http://www.theaviationhistorian.com/ which is a magazine which is of great quality and I highly recommend it (if you like the classics :) )

BAe Hawk; rarely used in combat, it is the subject of an extraordinary story culminating in surely the shortest-range strike missions in history, conducted by the Air Force of Zimbabwe in 1998

Had to try out the same scenario with the other two jets I own:

The Sabre is steady and trustworthy, the Mig is a bit on the wild side but THRUSTworthy ;)

Still, I must say the Hawk is the most fun to fly. I hope the final flight model won't be too far from this current one :pilotfly:
