E.g.: * AIM-7/Sky Flash on F-4 4 underbelly hardpoints, but not underwing. * AIM-7 on F-14 4 underbelly and 2 wingroot hardpoints * Sky Flash on Tornado ADV 4 underbelly hardpoints The AIM-7 can be launched from a rail or dropped/ejected and the Sky Flash is a British AIM-7 derivative. Tombstone Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 I'll add one more. Didn't non-datalink SARH used LOBL method? As far as I know, Sa-5 SAM had facilities to monitor received signal from seeker before launch, wasn't this similar for AAM? Maybe this could be something LA in Su-27 would be based on - non mandatory, but preferred to have before launch. In that case aircraft fuselage would seriously limit seeker FOV against upper hemisphere targets, but this isn't modeled in DCS. Can anybody shed some light on this? Abandon all hope, ye who enter here.
