PAC key binding question

I remember that you can have the main gun as a two stage trigger. Stage one is the pinky switch which uses PAC to deaden controls and reduce muzzle climb. Then the second trigger is to shoot the canon. what is The key binding name for the first stage?

That is what I thought, but it seems to have no input.

Make sure gunpac is armed by flipping the gun selector switch (next to master arm) to the upwards position. Lower position will only arm the gun and not PAC.

 

If that doesnt work try rebinding it to something else.

By default, the 1st stage is the 'P' key unless you are using a modified keyboard file. You also have to have the PAC enabled in the cockpit.

For me, I use the 1st switch position on the trigger for PAC,, so as I am rolloing in and I line up, I 1st pull the trigger to its 1st position (PAC), then when I am lined up and in range, I push the trigger in full, that triggers the rounds,,,, just easy that way for me,, and I like it.
